About the Role
Our Client has been in operation for over 50 years, supplying world leading Construction Equipment brands throughout the World, as well as having a comprehensive after-sales division for servicing and parts.
A position is now available for a dynamic, self-motivated salesperson, who has knowledge and experience in Spare Parts sales, preferably within Mobile Plant Equipment.  You will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to expand their international market presence across the Island Regions.  This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of global markets, excellent sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Additionally, the role involves managing financial transactions, logistics coordination and management and maintaining communication with freight companies.

  • Drive business growth for parts for an extensive product range
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering insights and solutions to their challenges
  • Develop running call and visit cycles to new and existing customers
  • Develop and foster long lasting working relationships with new and existing customers to enhance loyalty and retention
  • Assist in the development of Territory sales and revenue targets for the Parts Division for the international market
  • Provide Management sales reports on potential or achieved sales outcomes, customers visited & any operational issues
  • Liaise with freight companies to ensure accurate quotations and efficient logistics
  • Chase up payments on outstanding invoices
  • Oversee packing and labelling of consignments to ensure correct parts are shipped

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience or knowledge of spare parts within the construction/earthmoving industry highly desirable
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to actively seek new sales opportunities
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and meet and exceed Company targets
  • Resilient, persistent personality with the ability to follow through
  • Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed
  • A “do it once and do it well” attitude
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to keep abreast of business, competitors and economic developments
  • Sound computer skills
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
