About the Role
You will be joining a highly successful, family-owned residential construction business that is seeking a tenacious and self-motivated sales professional to drive profitable growth in the Bay of Islands and surrounding region by selling new homes. This role offers flexibility to operate autonomously while also being based in the display home to service those walk-in customers.  You will have the backing of ongoing, effective marketing strategies to generate leads and maximise sales opportunities.

Duties:

  • Sell new homes by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects
  • Actively follow up on leads to present products, including Show Home walk-in customers
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by ensuring sales activities are properly managed, increasing conversion rate from lead to a closed sale
  • Diligently follow up of all quotes, cultivating positive client relationships leading to successful contracts
  • Assisting clients through the sales and design process in selecting a suitable package
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the end-to-end sales process is managed promptly

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Sales experience in new home design and/or the construction industry
  • A genuine interest in listening and responding to customer requirements
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal and engaging presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated, with resilience towards the achievement of personal sales targets
  • Energy, passion, and drive in all aspects of business development
  • Honesty, integrity, and a high level of professionalism
  • New Zealand Driver’s Licence
