As the Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CEO and collaborate across various teams, taking full responsibility for overseeing the company’s financial activities. This dynamic role involves performing day-to-day financial functions, monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting, modelling and forecasting, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Demonstrating an exceptional work ethic and a strong commitment to fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

  • Perform and manage the finance and accounting functions
  • Provide insightful monthly management reporting to the executive team
  • Preparation of budgeting and forecasting
  • Responsible for month-end close
  • Assist with meeting all tax and legal compliance obligations
  • Manage expenses to improve profitability and operational efficiency
  • Ensure ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 management systems are diligently maintained

Skills and Experience:

  • A tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a Business discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in finance
  • Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative working style with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
