About the Role:
Our client is a well-respected NZ owned business, who have been enhancing the quality of people’s lives for over 35 years. They have developed trusted partnerships across multiple markets, including Public and Private Hospitals, Aged Care and Community Care.
Due to continued expansion, they are now seeking a reliable, dedicated and safety conscious individual, who has an excellent work ethic and enjoys being in an autonomous role. This position will see you undertaking deliveries to residential and commercial clients and carrying out basic installation functions, either in home or in various healthcare environments. You will need to love driving, be physically fit and have compassion and an aptitude for dealing with vulnerable people, by providing them with an extremely high level of customer service.
Note: You must be available to work long hours & available for regular travel & overnight stays up to 4 nights per week

Duties:
- Liaise with customers in relation to deliveries.
- Pick, prepare and dispatch orders
- Collate, count, mark off and store shipments
- Pack delivery vans in line with delivery schedules
- Wrapping products appropriately to prevent damage in transit
- Perform customer on-site deliveries and service of equipment.
- Orders are accurately dispatched.
- Ensure Product is assembled correctly & in good working condition
- Ensure sign-off and other documentation for site installations are completed
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
Skills and Experience:
- Class 2 Drivers Licence preferable
- Experience working in a delivery/driver role
- Warehousing/Logistics experience
- Be able to improvise on the go and be a Team player
- Be Physically fit with the ability to undertake basic installation work
- Knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools
- Knowledge of general repairs and maintenance
- Pro-active problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Current clean drivers licence and Site Safe Passport
- Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety
- Good sense of humour & a positive attitude is a must!
- Ability to pass a Police and Drug & Alcohol Check
- MUST have full NZ working rights
